- G21 Health & Wellbeing Community Profile - Consolidated data on community capacity, socio-economic factors, environmental factors, health behaviours and health status in the G21 region
- G21 Agribusiness Forum - a coordinated voice for the entire agribusiness sector of the G21 region, undertaking targeted activities and projects that increase the prosperity and satisfaction of the sector and its participants.
- ICT cluster - ICT cluster development
- G21 Regional Water Security Study released
- Geelong Ring Road Opportunity Study released
- Regional Marketing Program delivered, funded by a range of private and government agencies the program includes market research, newspaper inserts, campaign website and a television commercial
- A number of the long-term issues identified in the G21 Integrated Public Transport Strategy recognised in the G21 Transport Plan
- G21 (W.H.O.) Healthy Regions Report
- The G21 G21 Region Plan released – a sustainable growth strategy for the G21 region that looks towards 2050. Endorsed and supported by local and State Government, and involving participation of hundreds of regional stakeholders - the Plan is the agreed framework for the future development of the G21 region.
- G21 Region Demographic Profiling and Forecasting System – through a grant from DVC, each G21 Council now operates a demographic profile and forecast system that provides easy to access, reliable data for planning and decision making by the public and private sector alike.
- National Award for Innovation in Regional Planning and Development
- BioGeelong - biotechnology cluster development
- Telecommunications Needs Assessment Report released – highlights both the wealth of telecoms infrastructure in the region and the need for business and the community to do more with it. Major spin off projects are now taking shape through public and private investment.
- G21 Region Energy from Waste Framework released – the framework has identified pathways to use agricultural, industrial and commercial ‘waste’ for energy and has identified nine projects for further development.
