The fourth Anglesea Futures Community Conversation event will take place this month (January), providing an opportunity for the community to hear and discuss the assessment findings from the 2016 Anglesea River flows report.
Local community members and those with an interest in Anglesea and the region are encouraged to attend the event, which will build on earlier Anglesea Futures Community Conversations.
The Community Conversations series is an important vehicle for community discussion and feedback on a range of issues including future land use, water, planning and the long term vision for the Anglesea Region after the closure of the Alcoa coalmine and power station.
The event will be held on Thursday 21 January 2016 at the Anglesea Senior Citizens Centre from 6pm to 7.30pm.
Anglesea Futures Community Conversations are jointly coordinated by the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) and Surf Coast Shire Council.
The series complements Alcoa’s Community Consultation Network which focuses on discharging Alcoa’s responsibilities.
