QUEENSCLIFF – SORRENTO FERRY TERMINAL

PROJECT / Transport & Planning Pillar

Funded in the Geelong City Deal, work on the new terminal will be completed late 2022.

Redevelopment of the Queenscliff Ferry Terminal  has commenced as part of the Geelong City Deal. The $15.9 million project will upgrade the Queenscliff Ferry Terminal giving ferry passengers a world class experience including:

  • Improved visitor facilities
  • Improved disability access
  • Safer access for pedestrians
  • Improved car parking areas
  • Revitalised café
  • New boardwalk

The building has been designed by award winning architectural practise F2 Architecture and will be constructed by Kane Constructions. The upgrade will create more than 63 new jobs during the construction phase, and an additional 22 new ongoing jobs within the ferry operations.
