Armstrong Creek West Active Open Space

PROJECT / Health & Wellbeing Pillar

Development of the Armstrong Creek West Active Open Space is required to continue to meet the immediate demands of this growing community.

The 18ha active space includes plans for the development of soccer (natural turf x5), hockey / soccer (synthetic turf x4), tennis complex (pavilion and administration base x1) and tennis courts (x18).

Implementation of social infrastructure at Armstrong Creek will develop a community that is economically, environmentally and socially sustainable and provide an opportunity to set new standards in best practice urban development.

Detailed planning for this active open spaces has been undertaken. Funding is required to complete the project.

Development of these open spaces is recognised under the G21 Regional Growth Areas Priority Project.
