G21 LAND SUPPLY & MONITORING

PROJECT / Transport & Planning Pillar

G21 RESIDENTIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LAND SUPPLY REPORTS

Having a reliable, accurate and regularly-updated picture of industrial and residential land supply is critical for future urban planning.

The G21 Regional Growth Plan identified the need to develop a land supply monitoring process to form the basis for growth and land-release strategies within the G21 region.

Since then, a land supply report identifying available residential and industrial land, has been produced for the five G21 municipalities.

Industrial land supply monitoring

Industrial land supply – City of Greater Geelong (2018)
Industrial land supply – Colac Otway Shire (2017)
Industrial land supply – Golden Plains Shire (2015)
Industrial land supply – Surf Coast Shire (2019)

Note: There is no industrial zoned land in the Borough of Queenscliffe.

Residential land supply mapping

Residential land supply – Borough of Queenscliffe (2013)
Residential land supply – City of Greater Geelong (2019)
Residential land supply – Colac Otway Shire (2016)
Residential land supply – Golden Plains Shire (2015)
Residential land supply – Surf Coast Shire (2018)

Note: Each municipality updates their land supply data as required.
