Colac Otway Shire Chief Executive Peter Brown has resigned after three years at the helm and will step down in July.
Peter says he is proud of Colac Otway Shire Council’s achievements during his time as Chief Executive and he looks forward to the completion of projects and advocacy outcomes.
“I have enjoyed working with the Colac Otway Shire team, community leaders and residents I have met since I commenced the role in July 2018, and there have been many highlights and obvious challenges we have worked through together.
“I will be leaving with confidence that Council is well-placed to deliver almost $20-million worth of City Deal projects for our coastal communities, and other important programs and projects to support the shire’s recovery and growth,” he says.
As a G21 Board Director, Peter’s enormous drive and commitment to the region and in advocacy meetings with state and federal politicians and senior bureaucrats will be greatly missed.
